A Visit From # 6...AKA Baby...

It's always a treat for me when this little lady
comes to town for a visit!
Thanks, Nate, for being such a football fanatic!
Whatever it takes to bring Paige our way.

Doesn't she look cute with her baby bump?
We get to find out what she's having in a few more days!

We decided to gather the troops and make a visit
to Gardner Village for the Witch Festival.
Apparently it wasn't an original idea....about
a million other people were there too!

No problem though...these adorable little people have a
great time whenever they get together!

Three of my four gorgeous daughters
+ one adorable Cupie Doll grand daughter!

These three are such great buddies. I love to
listen in on their conversations. TOO CUTE!!

Poppy, Gabi and Bella checking out
the pumpkins.

Greta is the most mellow, go along to get along
girl in the world. And let's not forget that she
looks AMAZING in Naartje...thank goodness her
Mom works there!

Brooke and Paige were able to fit in a sleep over...
just like old times!
After Paige watched the Utah game with her hubby and the
rest of the Clark men she joined us again while the Clark guys
did football game #2 at BYU. We checked out
baby gear and finished out the evening at The Pub with
the Greg's ...best French Onion Soup in the world!
Then she was off to the Clark's and back to the airport.
It's always TOO short and leaves us wanting more.
Counting the days until Thanksgiving!
Miss you already, Paigey! XOXO

Belated Birthday...

Due to the fact that Brad was out of town on Gabi's official birthday
and I was out of town on the day of her postponed birthday party...
I decided to have my own little party for sweet Gabi.
Her favorite cousins Minie and Poppy helped celebrate
but her other favorite cousins Jude and Greta were "out of town"
for this party! :(
I think it's becoming more and more difficult to find a time
that works for everybody.
But that doesn't keep us from partying on....
Three is kind of a BIG DEAL!

Here's the whole group that made it to our party...
This girl is undeniably a princess....
and if you don't believe it, just ask her!

Everyone should have their birthday last for a
couple of weeks, don't you think???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET GABRIELLA RAVEN!!
XOXO

Sweet Invitation....

Mike had to be in Wyoming so I came home from
St. George to an empty house.
I spent a couple of days regrouping
(there's a reason you raise kids in your 30's & 40's)
and working on Relief Society stuff.
So I had pretty much been home for 2 days
and Brad called Thurs. afternoon to see
if I'd like to take a drive up the canyon
with him and the girls as Mommy
was working.
It was an easy decision...
I love the canyon and I adore
these girls!

We drove the Alpine Loop and the
colors were magnificent.
Down low they are aflame with color
but up higher they are already gone.

We stopped at Sundance and let
Bella and Gabi get out
and wander a little.
It seems where ever they go
these little beauties attract
attention.

Sweet Gabi gathered leaves
to take home
to Mommy.

On the way down we took
a detour to Squaw Peak
to overlook the whole valley
at sunset.
It was breath taking!

These little girls adore
their Daddy.
And it's obvious that the feeling
is mutual!

What a perfect evening...
witnessing the beauty of nature
at my favorite time of year
AND
witnessing my son as he
so lovingly parents my
gorgeous grandbabies.
Thanks Brad, for the drive,
the talk, and the tender way
you nuture your girls!
XO

Just Because...

No real reason for this post,
except I like this picture and
I really love this guy.
Hope you have a
terrific time in Disneyland, Jude!
We will miss you, Gregory's...

On Nannie Duty...

I got home from Jackson Hole Wednesday night,
washed my clothes, RE-packed my bag,
and drove down to St. George Thursday afternoon
to watch my Santa Clara Cuties.
Bob had to go to Washington, DC on business
so Robyn tagged along.
NO ONE should pass up a chance to go
to DC to sightsee!

These are some mighty fine kids! They were
all so well behaved and happy. Not
once did I hear them complain
about wanting their Mom and Dad.

These two cuties are so much fun!
They kept me hoppin' but there is nothing sweeter
than a bear hug from Gil or a middle of the night
snuggle from Gwynnie. Gil is a natural athlete and even though
he's too young, Gwyn's soccer coach recruited him
to play in the scrimmage. Gwyn on the other hand
is known to play soccer
while holding hands with her besties.

This guy was a HUGE help to me!
It's hard for me to believe Tucker is this big...but
let me tell you...you can count on this one.
He helped me meet all my "on time" goals,
run herd on the younger ones, and
never once questioned my authority.
He's the first choice on my team ANYTIME!!

Robyn and Bob returned Tuesday at 3PM'ish
and I hopped back in the car and
drove straight to BYU for 7:45PM meetings.
I returned home about 10PM and
I'm pretty sure both the Lamoreaux's and
I are no worse for the wear.

Love you little Lamoreaux's!! XOXO

The Jackson Hole Tradition!

I'm pretty sure this all evolved from the fact that
Mike and I spent our honeymoon in
Star Valley and Jackson Hole.
For decades we have been making the trip
to Jackson Hole with friends, family,
and even on our own.
It is one of the few places in the world where I see my
stress driven husband actually relax.
(And let me tell you, if we can get my beloved to relax...it's well worth it!)
As you drive into Star Valley you can feel the pace slow down
and the stress start to depart. Your senses are filled with
the beauty and grandeur of one of the most
beautiful places on earth. You can't help but recognize
God's hand in your surroundings.
And sharing it with people you love makes it even grander!
Even though things are tight for all of us this year,
those who could swing it pitched in
and carried their own load and we were able to
have a fabulous time together!

We all just love the scenery, the hikes,
the cousin time, the games,
and the memories we make..

Mike, Dustin and Trev got in a little fishing
so we enjoyed a few trout for dinner
and Dustin even got in a little studying!

The day we decided to trek into Yellowstone to see
Old Faithful was a wintry one!
But it didn't diminish our excitement to be
in such an incredible place.
Good company and hot chocolate makes even
the coldest outing enjoyable.
We got to see buffalo up close and
geysers even closer.
We also were serenaded by Gwyn singing Jingle Bells
with the line "oh what fun it is to ride in a
hopin' slopin sleigh"!
We LOVED the adventure and were glad to come
back to the condo to a hot chili dinner!

We decided to bring along some fun crafts for
the ladies and for the kids.
There was busy work for while we listened to
Conference and
it kept the littles happy, too!
And we got a jump start on Christmas
gifts and decorations...

Part of the tradition for several years
has been breakfast at the Bunnery.
It really is yummy but the last couple of visits we have
seen a HUGE increase in price and wait time....
I think we may nix this next year!

The annual trek into town for a little shopping and
sight seeing is always fun! The whole group
loves the feel of Jackson and we all need
our t-shirt fix!

This little group joined us for the last 24 hours.
We heard from K-dig several times a day wondering what
fun we were having NOW without her!
So when Nate and Paige had to leave a day before the rest of us,
the Greg's came on up and it was fun to have that little
"taste" of their family!

So...we say a sad good-bye to Jackson Hole...
until we meet again!!
